When I first moved to New York, I started off as an independent contractor assessing physical spaces and soon realized two things:
- There’s a palpable lack in professional organizing services today – they fix your home or office and then leave, almost guaranteeing them another job because you are not a professional organizer!
- That when someone’s physical space is a mess, there are likely several other parts of their life not functioning efficiently or effectively.
So I decided to change the game
In 2018, I worked with a family to organize data for a tax amendment project, while creating a system to track health insurance claim reimbursements and liaising with their CPA and attorneys. Suddenly I saw a huge need that grew by word of mouth, quickly and organically.
